JJ Redick has smoothly transitioned into his media career after retiring from the NBA. He is an ESPN analyst, has a successful podcast, and occasionally calls NBA games. During the in-season tournament game between the Milwaukee Bucks and the New York Knicks, former 76ers guard JJ Redick trolled the LA Clippers, ?I was very confused. The first court I saw was the Clippers court, and there was a trophy at half-court.? The Los Angeles Clippers have never won the NBA Championship and have always been second fiddle to the Lakers in LA. So, Redick hilariously pointed out the irony of seeing the new NBA Cup on the Clippers in-season tournament court.

Redick?s fellow announcers burst out laughing and asked how he could mock his former team. JJ was part of the LA Clippers from 2013 to 2017 before joining the Philadelphia 76ers. While Redick was on the Clippers roster, his team never made it out of the second round of the playoffs. JJ was a solid 15.8-point scorer for the Clippers in his tenure, but that was not enough to win him a Championship. The Clippers have never even made it to the NBA finals.
Can the LA Clippers respond to JJ?s mockery?

With the recent addition of former MVP James Harden to their squad, they will hope to capitalize on the opportunity and win a Championship this season.
The Clippers have one of the most skilled rosters on paper this year. But that needs to be translated on the court. Kawhi Leonard and Co’s first goal should be to win the inaugural NBA Cup, which will boost their confidence to make a run for the title.
