After a disappointing run at the FIBA 2023 World Cup, “The King”, LeBron James, has been getting prime stars ready for a last battle. The 2024 Paris Olympics is eight months away, but James is not leaving any stone unturned.

LeBron’s efforts to assemble a star-laden team did not go unnoticed by popular media and fans. So much so that one fan had compared it to Iron Man rounding up his team. According to Isabel Gonzalez of CBS Sports, there are a few names who have a high chance of being part of the 2024 Olympics.

Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard has expressed his interest in joining Team USA. James is hoping to get 76ers Joel Embiid, but the reigning NBA MVP has three options to choose from – Cameroon, USA and France. With the deadline for France fast approaching, Embiid has to make his decision known in the coming days. Other notable names include Bucks‘ Middleton and center Lopez. Both of them are in seventh heaven thinking of the opportunity. Clippers swingman Paul George and Lakers‘ Anthony Davis have also made their interest known.
