Damian Lillard breaks another record in tonight’s Lakers game, as he surpasses NBA great, Reggie Miller, for the fourth-most threes in league history! Absolutely thrilled for his achievement, the “Knick Killer” wastes no time in congratulating Lillard for surpassing him on the All-Time list.

Known widely for his accurate three-point shooting, Miller was particularly brilliant in high-pressure situations. A characteristic Damian shares with him. After all, that’s why Lillard taking off is called ‘Dame-Time’. As reported by Chris B Haynes on X, Miller said, Reggie Miller to @BleacherReport  on Damian Lillard surpassing him for 4th on NBA’s all-time 3-PTs made list (2,561): “Congratulations Dame on moving up the charts. I’ve always loved your mentality and approach as a shooter. You’ve put in the long hours required to call yourself one of the best in the world. Continued success.

Damian Lillard came into the league destined to be one of the best three-point shooters in NBA history. And he has proven time and again his skills. Even his rookie season saw him with a 36.8 three-point percentage. Spending the majority of his time with Portland, it reached a point where there was nothing more the franchise could do for the 8x All-Star.

After 11 long seasons with the Trail Blazers, Dame finally moved to Milwaukee with the hopes of getting his first ring. But it came with its own set of troubles.

From being 2000+ miles away from his kids and family to arriving to a completely new team, who themselves were figuring out the best way to proceed with the season, Damian Lillard had his work cut out for him. Not to mention, the pressure of the dream duo, Giannis-Dame, taking off. But that in itself is a work in progress. The 6’2 guard was coming from a team where everything revolved around him.

Milwaukee, though, was Giannis Antetokounmpo‘s. He was the franchise player, he was the brand, infact, he was the face of the city! So, there obviously was going to be an adjustment period. Add the mid-season coach change, and it was complete. Although Dame seems to be doing better than his initial days, the family man that he is will always have that particular void in him.
