In professional sports, controversies often arise, but none have been as shocking as those involving NBA star Ja Morant. The young sensation is worth more than 80M and has found himself in deep waters due to troubling gun controversies. He opines that the gun appeared to be real, pointing out that there is no sensible reason for anyone to bring a loaded firearm in a car full of people, especially while jamming out to NBA YoungBoy’s music. DJ stated, “I’m assuming that the gun is not just a toy… I don’t see a reason for anyone to take an unloaded gun out of their house.”

The media personality went on to highlight the risks involved in such behavior. If an accidental discharge were to occur, resulting in harm or death, it could have severe consequences for Morant’s career as well as legal repercussions.

DJ destroys Ja

While expressing concern, DJ Akademiks also destroyed Ja by saying that the incident has led to a free promotion for rapper NBA YoungBoy. He put it bluntly during the podcast. “If I’m [NBA] YoungBoy, I’m like ‘thank God for this stupid m***********.’ This promotes my music better than I ever could.”
