The fabricated quote purportedly came from Kevin Garnett, falsely accusing Green of punching Jordan Poole during the start of the 2022-23 season. The fake tweet read, ?Draymond punching JP is like a senior punching a freshman who?s half his size and than walks around talking himself up as if he?s like that. Come try me Dray,? The freshman picking on a senior citizen that?s double his size??

When things got out of hand, the Celtics legend came to tweet that it’s not him who has criticized Green.
