The Golden State Warriors won their second straight game after beating the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday. Despite the win, many would think that Stephen Curry might want to erase this game from his memory. Steph played one of the worst games of his career on Sunday, scoring just 7 points. It also ended the 2-time MVP’s historic three-pointer streak.
Steph finished the game without making a single three-pointer against the Blazers, putting an end to NBA history’s longest three-pointer streak of 268 games. Warriors head coach Steve Kerr revealed how Stephen Curry was unfazed by the 5-year-long streak ending on Sunday.

Steve Kerr had high praise for Steph. He was proud of the fact that Steph always put his team over himself. Even though Kerr knew the end of his three-pointer streak would have bothered Steph a little, he did not let that affect the environment of the Warriors locker room. Steph will be looking for redemption in tonight’s clash against the Boston Celtics.

How did the NBA look the last time Stephen Curry did not hit a three?
Stephen Curry’s record for hitting at least one three-pointer in a game lasted over five years. He last finished a game without making a single shot from beyond the arc on November 8, 2018. It was a game against the Milwaukee Bucks, where he shot 0 of 4 from the three-point line. The NBA has changed a lot since Steph’s historic streak began. LeBron James was in the first year of his Lakers’ tenure, and Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, and Brandon Ingram were still his teammates. King James’ current co-star, Anthony Davis, was dominating in New Orleans.

Jimmy Butler was trying to make it work in Minnesota. Kyrie Irving was playing for the Boston Celtics, struggling to get out of the shadow of LeBron James. Dwyane Wade was still playing in the NBA. That shows how long Stephen Curry has impacted the league with his dominant run. Curry is the Greatest shooter of all time, and his 5-year long streak is a testament to his work ethic and love for the game.
