Former LSU player puts up a jaw-dropping performance
In a warm-up game in Tokyo, the Boomers impressively defeated the fifth-ranked France 78-74 to demonstrate their authority on the floor. In the second half, Brian Goorjian’s team took control of the game, outscoring their opponents 47-35 to further their tournament preparations.
However, a moment that stole fans’ attention was when former LSU player, Duop Reath absolutely obliterated Ruby Gobert.

The Australians showed their grit with a spectacular comeback in the third quarter that helped them close the gap. In the last quarter, the score was 58-56. And an exciting fourth quarter was in store. Reath stole the spotlight during this quarter. He delivered an iconic two-handed dunk that rocked the arena as he flew over French big man Rudy Gobert.

Reath’s impressive two-handed dunk in the decisive quarter has sparked a Twitter frenzy of delight. Many took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the dunk, while a few commented on how Gobert failed to block the dunk.
A fan wrote, “Rudy is the worst center ever…… Always getting dunked on and he’s 7ft.” A flurry of comments followed with many praising Duop. A fan wrote, “Duop Reath is a fire name.” Another wrote, “Laying Reaths at Gobert’s funeral.”
