One of the main reasons for the success of LeBron James on-court is his strict fitness regimen. The 4x champion spends millions to ensure his body is always in top shape. From keeping a private fitness trainer to a private chef, the King reportedly spends $1.5 million a year taking care of his body. But anybody who keeps a close eye on his food habits will know that the 39-year-old has a sweet tooth. And he keeps his teeth satiated, more than occasionally if his former teammate Tristan Thompson is to be believed.

While that’s all well and good, when it comes down to the wire, the Lakers superstar cuts no corners. But that doesn’t mean when his trusted chef, Dena Marino, serves a plate of steaming, cheesy pizza, straight out of the oven, James will say no.

LeBron James can’t stop drooling at his chef’s pizza
In his recent story update on Instagram, Bron shared a video of Chef D’s heavenly pizzas, captioning it, “SO DAMN YUMMY!!!,” followed by drooling and fire emojis. The chef and entrepreneur captioned the original video, “Literally a pizza party !! My favorite type of party!” tagging James, his wife Savannah, and a few other friends. Bron is not shy when it comes to complimenting the James gang chef, either. In 2021, he had reposted his favorite dish of Marino’s in his X account.

While everybody loves the occasional cheats and treats, Marino ensures that LeBron James meets his nutritional requirements. In fact, she had shared Bron’s go-to granola recipe. It is a high-protein snack that can be eaten on its own or used literally in any recipe.

As much as James loves his wine, syrup, strawberries, and French toasts, the 20x All-Star knows the importance of keeping those tendencies in check. And when the temptation gets a little too much, it might be better to turn to the healthier alternative to satisfy his sweet tooth cravings.

“Are You A Peach, Plum, Or Nectarine Person?” ft. LeBron
Back in 2022, Dena Marino posted a tweet asking her followers about their preferences for peach, plum, or nectarine. Shortly thereafter, LeBron replied with his favorite as Nectarine and an emoji of the fruit. Interestingly, he had arrived at a Summer League game with a box from his home instead of getting anything from the arena.

Clearly, James knows when to draw the line and when to go overboard.
