The LAs Vegas Aces took down the New York Liberty in a 69-70 victory in Game 4. The Aces had a commanding 2-1 lead, with just one more game to seal the deal and the team managed to rally behind A’ja Wilson and her heroics on the court.

This championship win was fresh off another title the Aces won last year in 2022. The team has managed to win back-to-back titles and by the looks of it, there does not seem to be any other team that has come close to taking the crown away from them.

If there was a team in the league that could probably take the crown away from the Aces, it was none other than the New York Liberty. However, given how the Aces performed during this series, it is safe to say that the crown is not going anywhere.

After the game, Milwaukee Bucks star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo was spotted posing for a picture alongside A’ja Wilson. Antetokounmpo posted that picture on X, formerly Twitter, with the caption that stated Wilson was MVP and a championship as well as a hands-up emoji.

This was the elimination game for the New York Liberty, given that the Aces had a 2-1 lead on them. New York almost managed to extend the series but eventually lost the game by one point in the end.

Courtney Vandersloot led the Liberty with a 19-point performance, followed by 15 points from Betnijah Laney. Breanna Stewart poured in a double-double with 10 points and 14 rebounds for the game.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to take down the Aces. Las Vegas was led by A’ja Wilson and her 24-point performance. She paired that outburst with 16 rebounds as well in the deciding game.

Wilson got help on scoring from Jackie Young who notched 16 points in the game to put Liberty away. With another back-to-back title, the Aces get bragging rights for the next WNBA season as well.
