Ahead of the Miami Heat vs Sacramento Kings matchup, Bam Adebayo joins for a rapid-fire round. Among the many questions, Adebayo’s answer to the celebrity one-on-one would probably be a surprise. His response to who he would like to go against head to head among the celebrities was the 24-year-old rapper, GloRilla.

He confirmed that he was a fan of GloRilla, but mentioned his doubts about the Tennessee native’s “hoop” skills. “Probably, but probably not.”

Hip-hop and basketball go hand-in-hand. Many NBA players have close friendship with top names in the music industry and mainly with rappers. So, Adebayo’s interest in the young rapper is not surprising. Many even appear in guest roles in the music videos, as well. Others have gone an extra mile and created their alias as well.

But this isn’t the first time Bam has mentioned his admiration for GloRilla. During the All-Star Weekend, he had taken to X to tweet his annoyance at not taking taking a photo with her. “Just Remembered I Didn’t Get A Pic With  @GloTheofficial,” followed by an angry and melting emoji.

Although the Heat big man is yet to get his wish, it seems like the rapper has no qualms about going after what she wants. And it’s none other than a fellow rapper who has just entered the industry as well as one of the top names of the NBA.

GloRilla gives her best shot at getting some Dame-Time

Bam Adebayo might not have taken a photo with the up-and-coming rapper, but the woman in question did not make the same mistake. After winning the All-Star Game MVP, GloRilla wasted no time getting a pic with Damian Lillard. Not one to miss a window of opportunity, she immediately made her intentions clear.

The Grammy-Award nominee didn’t mince any words. While there were mixed reactions to this, Lillard hasn’t responded to the tweets. And it doesn’t look like he is going to anytime soon. The divorce from his high school sweetheart is still fresh, and he is in one of the most crucial points in his career.
