Yes, the alleged Aaron Rosenberg is nothing but a parody NBA account on X and it even says so at the end of its lengthy bio, “ESPN NBA Insider, stepping in after the legendary Adrian Wojnarowski. Bringing you the latest and most accurate NBA news, trades, and updates. •parody/satire.” With a following of 45.7K in only a year, the account has become a source of quite a few widespread misinformation in the hoop community. Hours before deeming himself Woj’s replacement, the account even claimed that the Brooklyn Nets have traded Ben Simmons to the Warriors.

So, you can relax because there is no Aaron Rosenberg replacing the beloved Woj on ESPN. Surely, the claim does raise the question who the person behind this parody account is. While the real identity remains unknown, there have been rumors that it COULD be the actual Aaron Rosenberg, an award-winning writer who has even written novels in the comedy genre. But it has not been proven and there is a high chance that the name being used by the account is completely made up.
