The New York Knicks will host the Charlotte Hornets this Sunday afternoon at the iconic Madison Square Garden. This will be their first meet up of the 2023-24 season. The Knicks will be coming into this match with the excellent record of two back-to-back wins. They hope to add one more on their last home game before Thanksgiving.

The Hornets also come with the high of a much-needed win from their previous game against Washington. From the eight games they have played this season, they have recorded just three wins. Hence, this game is crucial for them to continue the positive momentum. To do this, Charlotte needs a healthy roster, which they unfortunately do not have now.

With two of their top scorers out, the Hornets will be relying on LaMelo Ball to continue his great performance from the last three games. In specific, the one against Washington where he put up 34 points with four rebounds and seven assists. The point guard also put up 30 points with ten rebounds and 13 assists in last week’s match against the Dallas Mavericks. Although both these games ended in a loss, it is crucial that Ball gives his best, since the odds are not exactly in their favor.
