Adam Silver, NBA commissioner even announced that in an attempt to keep him away from the limelight and learn the error of his ways, Ja would be suspended for the first 25 games of the new season. Ja’s extended absence from the public eye has not been as uneventful as he may have hoped. having unfollowed his childhood friend Davonte Tap on all platforms, Ja’s latest tweet, however, makes it seem that the two have set their differences aside.

Ja Morant follows DTap back

Ja Morant and Davonte Pack have a long history going back to their youth in South Carolina. Coming up in the same neighborhood, the two young basketball stars immediately built a bond that stretched well beyond the court. They were more than friends; they became brothers. By sharing their experiences, goals, and passion for the game, they eventually walked on the same path in joining the NBA.

However, Morant has been involved in a number of worrisome situations with weapons, some of which are connected to Pack. The most recent instance, in when Morant displayed a pistol during an Instagram Live video on DTap’s account. This resulted in immediate consequences for Morant. He has been prohibited from all team operations by the Memphis Grizzlies, and the NBA is anticipated to impose more punishments as the 2023-24 season approaches. Following these occurrences, Ja Morant unfollowed DTap and his business MBNO on all social media networks.

But recently it was discovered that Morant has started following Pack on social media. He was even seen liking one of his tweets. When a fan put this up on his social network and pointed out that Morant is following Pack again, Morant replied to that Tweet.

Morant went to Crestwood High School in Sumter and Pack went to Lakewood High School during their high school years. According to MaxPreps, Pack’s Lakewood team met Morant and Crestwood as seniors twice. And Pack’s squad came out on top both times. As they handled the obstacles of high school basketball together, these confrontations brought an extra element of competitiveness to their bond.
