Despite these bold statements from the 6’10 guard, Brian thought nothing of it. While discussing the Nets, the sportswriter disregarded any contribution from Ben even in the upcoming season. “I don’t even consider Ben Simmons,” he pointed out in the latest episode of The Hoop Collective.

Windhorst added, “I don’t even know,” while trying to make sense out of the 3-time All-Star’s presence in the roster. He entirely crossed out Simmon’s importance in the squad as he stood firm on his belief. The 45-year-old highlighted, “You are not gonna be able to trade him,” hinting at the potential miscalculation from Brooklyn. Despite the harshness, it was not the first time Brian went after Ben, as the duo shared the dynamic previously, too.
