“I just really wanted to enjoy being a mom and supporting my husband. I wasn’t super-comfortable with putting myself out like that.” During a 2023 interview with The Cut, Savannah James confessed that she has spent the majority of her years prioritizing her family and putting her individual goals on the back burner. Of course, it also meant keeping a low profile and her private life private. But when she started her podcast ‘Everybody’s Crazy’ last year, with her co-host and longtime friend April McDaniels, it gave Savannah a chance to get candid with the fans and share her personal struggles and experiences.

Well, following a five-month hiatus, the podcast is back with its fourth season, and the latest episode dropped on YouTube today, titled “It’s Giving…We’re Baccckkkkkk.” Of course, a big part of the show is taking calls from viewers, with Savannah and April handing out their perspective on the issues the viewer is facing. So, when one caller asked for advice regarding dealing with anxiety, something that reportedly 44% of American adults struggle with and around 11.5% experience symptoms without recognizing them (according to a research paper on ScienceDirect.com), Savannah confessed that she, too, faces the same distress.

“Something I’m realizing about myself is I might be a little anxious but also confident… It’s a weird dynamic… When I get anxious, I shut down. I’m doing nothing. I’m done,” she remarked. However, she did have some sound advice for the caller to turn that anxiety into a tool for growth:

“Being uncomfortable is a good thing and she could grow from that… Use that anxiousness to be better.” Maybe that’s how she tackles it as well because it doesn’t matter how anxious she might be, Savannah James always exudes confidence. But turns out, there is one major reason behind her anxiety.

April McDaniel gives key advice to Savannah James following her honest confession

While Savannah is usually a confident individual, one thing truly makes her anxious – lack of preparedness. “I think I only have anxiety when I’m not prepared,” she remarked. Well, this is a natural reaction for most people when they have something big lined up but are not fully prepared. So, her co-host April gave Mrs. James an advice to conquer this issue, “I think you need to learn how to multitask.”

When Savannah responded, “I don’t like to multitask,” April reminded her that she has no other choice. “You’re gonna be a multi business owner honey. Speed it up.” Yes, Savannah has begun putting her eggs in multiple baskets by diversifying her investments and getting into new businesses. Her latest venture, a skincare line named ‘Reframe Beauty’, recently launched its latest products.

Although, it was a sense of panic that sparked the idea of the new brand, as Savannah revealed in a recent interview, “When I was asked, rather told by my daughter that she wanted to be just like me, I panicked and kind of started to reevaluate where my passions were and where I wanted to make a mark. And I always come back to the beauty space, the health and wellness space. It’s just like my jam.”
