The San Antonio Spurs hit the jackpot when they acquired the No. 1 pick in the 2023 NBA draft. Jeremy Sochan was the 9th pick in the 2022 NBA draft and showed great potential in his rookie season with the Spurs. Averaging 11 points and 5.3 rebounds in Gregg Popovich’s system, who does not give his rookies too much time on the floor, Sochan proved he could hang in the NBA. Apart from his on-court performance, Sochan has become very popular because of his multicolored hair, following in the footsteps of NBA Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman.

In an interview with For The Win, Jeremy Sochan talked about teaming up with the No. 1 pick in this year’s draft, Victor Wembanyama. “I think it’s going to be scary.” Sochan said, putting the entire league on notice. He believes that players will have a tough time scoring against the young duo because of their size and defensive skills. “There is no need to pause after getting the defensive board.” Sochan added, pointing out their ability to run the floor as tall players.
