The Los Angeles Clippers are facing the Brooklyn Nets tonight. Before the game, the Clippers’ roster was announced in the arena. Most of the players on the roster got a round of applause from the fans when their names were announced. But, when the Brooklyn Nets fans saw the picture of their former star James Harden pop on the big screen and heard his name being announced, they openly expressed their anger by booing the former MVP in unison. The arena was filled with loud boos, and the fans let The Beard know that he was not welcome in Brooklyn.

Harden played for the Brooklyn Nets from early 2021 to late 2022. They found no significant success in Harden’s tenure despite having three of the most lethal offensive players on their roster, James Harden, Kyrie Irving, and Kevin Durant. Instead, all Harden brought to the table was the drama. He eventually got traded to the Philadelphia 76ers in September of last year, and we all know how that turned out.

With Harden’s history of forcing trades from almost every team he’s been on, there’s only one question on everyone’s lips.

James Harden is one of the best scorers in NBA history. He has a Hall of Fame-worthy resume, and his accolades include an MVP trophy, 10 All-Star selections, 3 scoring titles, and 6 All-NBA First Team selections. He will go down as one of the most dominant players of all time. But James Harden’s off-court antics might have ruined his NBA legacy. The Beard has become a “villain” for his former teams because of how things ended between him and the management, and fans continue to boo him despite what he has accomplished in his career.

Harden’s tenure with the LA Clippers might be his last chance to save his NBA legacy. He is 34 years old and in the later stages of his career. If he does not hold his end of the bargain with the Clippers after the drama he caused in Philadelphia, the NBA world will be sure that he has been the problem all along. Harden has a chance to win his first NBA Championship by playing alongside superstars like Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and Russell Westbrook.
