James Harden returned to the Philadelphia 76ers training camp after months of back and forth with the Sixers Front Office. Despite Harden’s desire to be traded from Philadelphia, the 76ers management has not made any moves to facilitate the trade. They are still looking for the best offer that will help them improve their chances of winning the title with Reigning MVP Joel Embiid. But it seems like the only legitimate contender to acquire James Harden is the Los Angeles Clippers. Harden gave the Clippers an advantage over the 76ers when he made it clear that he wanted to play alongside Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.

Days after returning to the 76ers training camp, the Former MVP got a bombshell update on his trade saga.

Veteran NBA Inside Adrian Wojnarowski had shocking updates about the James Harden trade drama. He revealed the Los Angeles Clippers do not want to raise their original offer, considering they are the only team bidding for the 10-time All-star. “The Clippers would like to get a deal done sooner than later. They also don’t want to raise their offer given they’re the only team that is bidding on [James Harden]. They’ve offered [the Sixers] more than anybody else has: a 1st round pick, pick swap, expiring contracts.” Woj said.

Daryl Morey is not interested in the Clippers’ 2028 First Round Pick because they are in a Win Now situation with Reigning MVP Joel Embiid in his prime. A draft pick for 5 years in the future in exchange for their current superstar is not looking too valuable to the 76ers President. Woj also revealed that in order to turn things around, the Clippers are talking to several teams to get multiple picks in exchange for their 2028 first-round pick. Steve Ballmer is looking for draft picks that will grab Daryl Morey’s attention so that he agrees to send James Harden to LA.

The Philadelphia 76ers fans want the James Harden trade drama to end soon so that they can focus on their goal of winning a Championship. Philly fears that this drama will cause Joel Embiid to lose sight of the goal, and he will eventually start finding a better opportunity to win his first NBA title. The 76ers are at risk of losing both of their superstars. With the LA Clippers’ efforts, it could be just a matter of time before Daryl Morey decides to let go of James Harden and put an end to his trade saga.
