Coming back from the suspension, Jimmy Butler led his team, the Miami Heat to victory against the Utah Jazz today 126-120. Butler had an incredible run today with a staggering 37 points, 3 rebounds, and 7 assists in this game but that wasn’t the only highlight. In the post-game interview, when Butler was asked what he did to teammate Caleb Martin‘s face, he responded, “The PG-13 were way I got him good. When I hit him, I didn’t know it was him but whoever I hit was leaking and need stitches cos I hit him smooth on.” But that’s not all that Butler said!

In a diabolical yet funny tone, Butler continued, “I just wish it was, nah, you know let me not say that. They gon get me, they gon try to get me.” Even though one cannot say for certain, it seems like Butler may have been referring to one of the Pelicans in the fight that broke out between players from the Heat and the New Orleans Pelicans leading to the suspension of five players including Butler. Amongst the other three was teammate Nikola Jovic while the rest were from the Pelicans, Naji Marshall, Thomas Bryant, and Jose Alvarado.

While Jimmy Butler was out, Caleb Martin Caleb Martin stepped up in the Heat’s February 27th game against the Sacramento Kings. Martin played for most of the game (40 minutes) and scored 16 points with 6 rebounds and 1 assist. Even with Butler’s return, Martin continued his strong performance, contributing 18 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists off the bench in today’s game.
In a nail-biting comeback, the Miami Heat, currently placed as 6th in the East, snatched victory from a strong Utah Jazz team. Despite a strong start from the Jazz, who went on to an 11-point lead in the third quarter, the Heat, led by Jimmy Butler, refused to back down. Butler, Miami’s superstar, dished out a season-high 37 points, including a clutch three with just over a minute remaining to secure the dub. Supporting Butler’s was Bam Adebayo, who recorded a double-double with 23 points and 7 rebounds. Terry Rozier chipped in with 14 points and a game-high 8 assists. Miami Heat’s brilliant teamwork was evident throughout the game, with 33 of their 46 made field goals coming off assists.
