Klay Thompson has made it plain that he would support Sabrina Ionescu in the next 3-point shootout against Steph Curry. The Golden State Warriors shooter and one-half of the Splash Brothers believes Ionescu, the New York Liberty’s record-setting 3-point shooter, can outshoot his colleague and NBA superstar Curry. Thompson’s acknowledgment of Ionescu is substantial, given his standing as one of the finest shooters in NBA history. He is known for his dead-eye precision from beyond the arc, and he owns the record for the most 3-pointers made in a single game, hitting 14 against the Chicago Bulls in 2018.

Furthermore, he has the most career games with more than twelve 3-pointers made, cementing his reputation as a long-range shooter. So, knowing that she is receiving the support of Curry’s on-court brother, Ionescu spoke about the 34-year-old guard in an interview and challenged him as well saying, “Klay and Steph are the best players I have ever seen. I would love to get into the gym and battle out with two of them and see who wins.”

However, his trust in Ionescu is legitimate as last year’s 3-point battle saw the WNBA star put on a shooting spree, hitting 25 of 27 shots in the final round to set a new record.
