Stephen Curry is one of the most influential athletes in the sports world. His Underdog story has inspired millions to believe in themselves and stay on the right path. Apart from his on-court dominance, Steph has been a huge promoter of the game throughout his career. He also makes constant efforts to promote Women’s basketball and make it more popular on the global stage.

During this year’s All-Star Weekend, Curry put on a show with WNBA star Sabrina Ionescu in a thrilling three-point contest. After tonight’s dominant win against the Toronto Raptors, Steph revealed what motivates him to remain an ambassador for Women’s basketball. “Kobe used to say it all the time, ‘Try to leave the game in a much better place than when you found it.’”

Steph claimed he takes inspiration from Lakers legend Kobe Bryant’s iconic words and tries to live by it. The Warriors superstar said it was important for him to use his platform to celebrate good basketball. Steph has tried to do that throughout his career, and great things have come out of it.

Curry also complimented Sabrina Ionescu for living up to the challenge and putting on a shooting clinic during the All-Star Weekend. “She put a lot of pressure on me to go out there and try to win that,” Steph added. Even though Sabrina was at a disadvantage shooting from the NBA three-point line, she put up 26 points to set a huge target for Steph.

She was not afraid of the big moment and put a lot of pressure on Steph to perform well. Curry thrived under pressure and won the contest with his 29-point performance.

“To support the women’s game is huge. We gotta keep doing it,” Curry said concluding his statement. He carried his positive form and winning luck to tonight’s game as well, where he once again got back to his usual shooting numbers.

Steph finally ended his shooting slump last night with a dominant 31-point performance at MSG. And he continued his form tonight, scoring 25 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists against the Toronto Raptors. Steph shot 7 of 15 from the three-point line and led the Warriors to a 120-105 victory. It looks like the Baby-Faced Assassin is finally back in form.
