“Learn From the Best”: Hours After Stephen Curry’s 5YO Son Showcased His Freakish Shot, Wife Ayesha Displays Her Athletic Prowess

Steph is such an elite shooter that his skills have rubbed off on his entire family. Hours after the 2-time MVP posted a video of his 5YO son sinking a backward no-look shot, his wife, Ayesha, joined the party, showing off her shooting skills on Instagram.

Steph’s wife, Ayesha Curry, shared a video on her Instagram story about shooting a basketball into the hoop while sitting on the couch. She captioned the video, “It be like that. Learn from the best.” Followed by a wink face emoji. Married to the Greatest Shooter of all time since 2011, Ayesha has definitely picked up a few things from her husband’s arsenal. The 4-time Champion might have given her wife a few shooting lessons just like their son, for her to swish the ball with such ease.

Before Ayesha displayed her athletic prowess, Steph posted an Instagram story of his son Canon shooting a backward No Look shot from near the free throw line. Steph funnily captioned the video, “#Fundamentals”. With basketball genes running in the Curry family, Canon might follow in his father’s footsteps and play in the NBA someday.

The Curry Family has been blessed with some great basketball genes. Although no one in the family is as good a shooter as the 4-time Champion, Steph’s family is full of elite shooters. His father, Dell Curry, played in the NBA for 16 years and had a career three-point shooting percentage of over 40. Even Steph’s younger brother, Seth Curry, is an amazing shooter. He is a career 43.5 percent three-point shooter, ranking among the best shooters in the NBA.
