The Miami Heat look to hamper LeBron James’ dream with their recent development. ESPN senior writer Brian Windhorst recently appeared on the Locked on Heat podcast and made a revelation about the 4x NBA champion’s son Bronny James. Now, it’s nothing new that LeBron James is in the last years of his NBA career and on the verge of retiring. However, before that, he wants to share the court with his son, Bronny, who will possibly be entering the NBA draft next year.

So, as he is currently playing for the Los Angeles Lakers, he would do everything in his power to get his son on his team. However, the Magic City is supposedly poaching the Akron Hammer for a trade deal in his final years in the league. Is this where the father-son duo ends up playing?

The Magic City are making a move on Bronny James

Brian Windhorst revealed on the Locked on Heat podcast about the Miami Heat scouting good players in LA. And while saying that he said, “Recently it was Bronny James’ second game, he was playing in Alber. This guy that I know that works in Alabama sent me a video of Bronny warming up, and right behind him in the first row taking notes is Adam Simon.”

Adam Simon is a vice president of basketball operations/assistant general manager of the Miami Heat. Now Miami Heat is the former team of LeBron James where he has won 2 championships and according to rumors, he might be going back there for his final run. Even though it seems highly unlikely of this to happen if the Heat acquire Bronny James, who knows what might happen?

They currently have a great mix of seasoned veterans and talented rookies, and their team is doing well this season, however, the addition of another rookie in the form of Bronny James is only going to make their squad even stronger.

How has Bronny’s basketball career been so far?

Bronny James had been recruited by the USC Trojans in May, however, due to a cardiac arrest he was unable to play for five months until he recovered. Finally, on December 10th, Bronny made his debut for his team but due to his health conditions is playing for a limited time. Even then he is making an impact with his game like the recent one against the California Golden Bears.

He was able to gain the seventh victory for his team by putting up 10 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 assists. Bronny’s influence helped the Trojans recapture a .500 record, demonstrating the young guard’s capacity to have a considerable impact on his team.
