Baseball Hall of Famer David Ortiz sat with Red Sox reporter John Tomase for an interview. He revealed his fandom for Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum ahead of their rivalry game against the Philadelphia 76ers, “I might be his number 1 fan out of all of Boston.” The Red Sox legend had high praise for Tatum and considered him one of the most elite players in the league who plays his heart out every time he steps on the court. Ortiz further said, “It’ll come.” about Tatum’s hopes of winning a Championship in Boston. The MLB legend believes Tatum knows that Boston fans are true basketball fans, and he has what it takes to win a Championship for them.

David Ortiz knows what it is like to win for Boston fans as he won three World Series titles with the Boston Red Sox during his Hall of Fame career.
