NBA All-Star Celebrity Game: Stephen A. Smith and Shannon Sharpe Go Head-To-Head in A Different Role

After having intense battles on ESPN’s First Take, two of the most respected NBA analysts take their battle on the court. In the upcoming All-Star celebrity match, Shannon Sharpe and Stephen A. Smith have officially been announced as coaches. With Smith’s fiery temperament and Sharpe’s solid charisma, these sports media heavyweights will undoubtedly pump up the audience as they lead their respective teams in the upcoming All-Star celebrity match.

This is going to be a highly anticipated event as the atmosphere is going to be electric for the two media personalities to showdown on February 16th, at 7 p.m. ET. However the two coaches are going to need some support on their side and aiding Sharpe is one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, Peyton Manning, and the 15x Platinum artist 50 Cent.

On the other hand, to support Stephen A. Smith is 2x WNBA champion A’ja Wilson and the 5x Grammy-winning artist Lil Wayne. These sporting and musical superstars not only add glamor to the event but also are well-versed in the sport and will provide their full expertise in order to attain victory.

However, that’s not all. This year the NBA is taking the All-Star experience a notch up as they are introducing a new LED court that has dynamic three-point lines and provides a visual experience like none other. So, as the fans are eagerly waiting for the clash between Smith Vs. Sharpe, who are the celebrities on their respective teams?

Team Stephen A. Smith v. Team Shannon Sharpe: who made the cut?

This year the roster on the celebrity All-Star is a mix of diverse personalities. Stephen A. Smith’s team includes the youngest female EGOT recipient, Jennifer Hudson, NBA Champion Metta World Peace, NFL player, CJ Stroud, and the Olympic high jump winner Gianmarco Tamberi on his team. He even has Grammy-nominated artists like AJ McLean and Adam Blackstone, basketball entertainer Jack Ryan, and award-winning chef Kwame Onwuachi on his team. And finally, the Phoenix Mercury guard Natasha Cloud and content producer Tristan Jass complete his roster.

On the other hand, Shannon Sharpe’s team includes the Latin American Music Award-winning artist Anuel AA, Grammy-nominated artists like Walker Hayes and SiR, and actors like Dylan Wang and Quincy Isaiah on his team. Even he has an NFL athlete Micah Parsons on his team and an IndyCar series racer Conor Daily by his side. Those are not the only athletes he’s got as he has the 2x WNBA champion Jewell Loyd to aid him along with the famous streamer Kai Cenat and the social media entertainer Lilly Singh to complete his squad.

With an ample distribution of big names and basketballing talent on both sides and two coaches who seem to know the game as well as anyone, the clash between Team Shannon and Team Stephen A. promises to be an entertaining one.
