Haliburton claimed he was tired of being a loser and wanted to get to the playoffs this year. NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski revealed Haliburton’s mission, “I’m gonna get you shots, I’m gonna make life easy for you and we are going to win.” The point guard wants to recruit star players to Indiana, and he is using this season to make sure the players know how easy their lives would be if they teamed up with Haliburton.

Indiana has not found any significant success in the playoffs in the last few years. They have not made the playoffs since 2020, and it has been a decade since they won a playoff series. Haliburton wishes to change the culture in Indiana and make the Pacers a winning team again.
