With the NBA trade deadline closing in, Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges’ future looked uncertain, due to speculations circulating around his probable exit from the Queen City. Despite the rumored interest from multiple clubs, including Phoenix Suns, Utah Jazz, and Detroit Pistons, Bridges’ attachment to Charlotte remains constant. Now, his agent Rich Paul confirmed that Bridges will not be approving any trades and will stay with the Hornets for the rest of the season.
Miles Bridges has decided he won’t approve any trades and he will remain with the Charlotte Hornets the rest of the season, agent Rich Paul tells ESPN.
Bridges will be an unrestricted free agent this summer and the Hornets will retain his Bird Rights.

The forward is a key member of the Hornets’ youthful core and has developed as a standout player, displaying his flexibility and agility on both sides of the court. At the mere age of 25, Bridges has become a fan favorite, thrilling spectators with his aerial acrobatics and fierce defense. Due to this, the Phoenix Suns were eyeing him for a very long time. However, by staying with the Queen City, Bridges is showing his loyalty to them, but that does not eliminate the possibility of a trade.
