As the rumors about Klay Thompson getting traded from the Golden State Warriors are catching fire, the Warriors have emerged as one of the possible destinations for Zach LaVine, sources told Hoops Wire. Klay is in the final year of his 5-year $189 million contract. And the Warriors might choose to not extend his contract because of his recent downfall.

Klay is having one of his worst seasons as an NBA player. He is averaging only 16.9 points. Klay is struggling to shoot the ball from beyond the arc, with a career-worst 37.8 percent from the three-point line. There have been constant rumors about the Warriors parting ways with Klay before the end of this season. If that happens, Zach LaVine could be a great addition to the struggling Warriors roster.
