Deion Sanders has gained many fans for doing stellar work for the Colorado Buffaloes. The Buffaloes currently sit 8th in the Pac-12 standings, having won four out of six games. This has led to interest in Coach Prime and the Buffaloes, which led to Sanders signing a deal with Amazon Prime for a documentary. Deion Sanders’ documentary deal at Colorado includes a dramatic license for producer and exposure for Colorado University.

But prominent figures in sports media like JJ Redick have an issue with Sanders letting his camera crew into the locker room. And LeBron James agrees with his fellow hooper.

This didn’t sit well with media personality and former player JJ Redick. Redick took to Twitter to express his opinion. He said, “I grew up in the NBA. The teams I was on- we had plenty of motivational speakers. Some of them I really took a lot from & a few were impactful for our team. None of those talks were recorded and then posted to social media. What are we doing now? Is the locker room not sacred”.

LeBron agreed with Redick’s take and posted a story on his Instagram handle on October 6th, with the caption reading, “Couldn’t have said it better! Straight Facts!!!

But not everyone is in agreement with LeBron and Redick. Many media outlets have come to the defense of Coach Prime. The DreamerPro Show host, Charles Tabansi, defended Sanders by saying, “For LeBron to be chiming in. If you (LeBron) release a docu-series that has behind-the-scenes footage, you’re going to look like a flagrant hypocrite. Let the guy (Sanders) live”.
