The video took the internet by storm as fans noticed how the paparazzi disrespected the Super Bowl Champion for a glimpse of Gomez.

Hours later, Shannon Sharpe addressed the viral moment, claiming to not know who Selena Gomez was.

Despite having 429 million followers on Instagram, the 31-year-old singer was not on Shannon’s radar. “I don’t really know what she does,” Shannon said. His co-host was shocked by the comment and asked the analyst to name Gomez’s songs. Sharpe had no clue about any of the singer’s songs and said, “I barely could name her.”

Shannon was sure that even the Popstar did not know who he was. His co-host slyly told Shannon to “Shoot his Shot”. Appalled by the comment, Shannon said, “I promise you, I drink 2 gallons of water a day, I ain’t thirsty. I’m good.”
