A thief at his own party?

Cleveland Cavaliers recently offered a contract extension to their reserve guard, Caris LeVert, for two seasons at $32 million. LeVert, a crucial member of the Cavaliers roster, averages about 30.2 minutes of playing time. In that limited amount of playing time, the player managed to average 12.1 points, 3.9 assists and 3.8 rebounds per game. But despite their admirable efforts, the New York Knicks eliminated the Cavaliers from the first round of the playoffs.

The NBA star recently fell prey to a theft at his residence. When the player hosted a house party at his place in LA, his rare Peugeot watch was stolen from his room. The player discovered this when he entered his room and saw his watch case lying on his bed. And when he opened the box, to his surprise, the watch was nowhere to be found.

Someone allegedly saw a person entering LeVert’s bedroom earlier in the evening, which stoked suspicions of foul play. The LAPD is now probing the matter, conducting a thorough investigation to uncover the truth behind the daring theft.

As there were no eyewitnesses to this incident, the police do not have a sketch of the robber currently. But on suspicion they made some arrests in the case.
