Josh Hart who is one of the prominent names in the New York Knicks squad started off his career with the City of Angels. He was drafted by the Lakers in 2017, where he struggled early on due to injuries and got limited playing time. During his tenure with the Lakers, a veteran guided him through his rough times and helped him evolve as a player.

So, when he appeared as a guest on the Roommates show, he was asked about a veteran who he was influenced by and would like to be in the future for his teammates. Answering him Hart said, “I had Rondo for a year and I love Rondo. I wish I had Rondo longer when I was a younger player just cuz he was great. And talking about me all the stuff I would do at 34 with a young guy will be like he did.”

Hart went on to give examples of how Rajon Rondo was a great veteran saying that he would watch films and let the second unit talk to them due to which there was a sense of unity amongst the team. Also, he mentored some of the guys and brought them under his wing due to which Hart has immense love and respect for him.

However, when Josh Hart was in LA he had another veteran on his team whom he did not mention, LeBron James. Normally, the Akron Hammer’s teammates always sing his praises and have immense love for him. And with nicknames like the “Chosen One” and “the King,” he has been awarded another title by his teammates as they call him the “best teammate.”
