LeBron James continues to shock the NBA World with his incredible athleticism, even at age 39. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar made light work of the young Charlotte Hornets squad tonight and led his team to a dominant 124-118 victory. Not only did LeBron decimate the Hornets’ defense, but he also humiliated them with some highlight plays during his 26-point performance. LeBron’s insane show of athleticism during the game even surprised his younger son, Bryce James.

King James was on a mission to get the Lakers a victory on the road from the tip-off. During the 2nd quarter, LeBron made a nasty move on Hornets forward PJ Washington Jr. and bullied his way to the basket for an emphatic dunk on Center Nick Richards. LeBron avoided Richards’ attempt at blocking the shot and hung on the rim for extra emphasis. The Hornets’ announcers and the Lakers bench were hyped after LeBron’s dunk, and the fans at the Hornets arena could not believe what they witnessed. His father’s athleticism also mesmerized LeBron’s son, Bryce James, and shared the video on his Instagram story. He captioned the video, “OMG”.

That is the kind of season LeBron James is having this year. Even in his 21st season, LeBron is the face of the Lakers franchise and arguably their best player. He has been in incredible form all season and stayed healthy for the majority of the games. LeBron is averaging a whopping 24.9 points, 7.6 assists, and 7.4 rebounds. LeBron has defied Father Time and continues to play at an elite level even after two decades of dominating the league. LeBron’s longevity is a testament to his dedication to the game and could help him achieve his ultimate dream of playing with his sons.

Will LeBron achieve his ultimate goal before hanging his boots?

LeBron has achieved everything there is in the sport of basketball. The only goal left on his checklist is sharing the NBA court with his sons, Bronny and Bryce James. And King James could realize his dream very soon. Bronny is playing his first season with the USC Trojans and will be eligible for the NBA draft this year. If he decides to put his name in the 2024 NBA draft, he could become an NBA player as soon as next season. That could mean Bronny could be playing alongside his father by the end of this year.

Bryce James will also be available to declare for the NBA draft in 2026. Even though LeBron will be 41 years old by then, the entire James family sharing an NBA court seems possible because of LeBron’s unprecedented longevity. With the way LeBron is playing in year 21, he could easily be a productive player for 4-5 more years if he chooses to. If LeBron, Bronny, and Bryce play in the NBA at the same time, it will be a historic moment for the league and the James Family.
