Booker was very happy about this commercial and even thanked them, saying, “A lot of legends in it. And all of those people are a part of this story or a part of this book. And I was happy that they took time out to shoot the commercial and be a part of it so, I haven’t got to see it yet but I am excited to check it out.”

The commercial has cameo appearances from basketball legend Kevin Durant, shoe design pioneer Wilson Smith, and even Booker’s family members, including his parents, and his brother. Book 1’s popularity skyrocketed after music artist Drake was spotted wearing the “Chapter One” colorway at his September show. So, as the fans wait for the Book 1s, the official release date on the shoes is February 17th, and the sneakers will make their debut in a stunning grey-and-cream colorway called “Mirage.”
