Julius Randle has a long road ahead. Earlier this month, he took the tough decision of undergoing a season-ending surgery on his injured shoulder. The New York Knicks superstar suffered a dislocated shoulder on January 27 and was hopeful to return before the playoffs. But he reaggravated the injury during a full-contact recovery session last month. After trying to avoid the same, he underwent a successful shoulder surgery on Tuesday. While the rehab process will take its toll on Julius, he fortunately has the support of his loving wife, Kendra Randle, through the tough journey.

Four days after Julius Randle’s successful surgery, she penned an emotional message for her husband on Instagram. Kendra posted a picture of herself kissing the NBA pro post-surgery. Heartwarmingly, she wrote, “Less than a year ago, we were here for ankle surgery. You fought back, became an All-star for the 3rd time, then got hurt again. I watched you fight so hard to try to make it back to your team, but I know this is all God’s plan. Your resilience inspires me, and I know you’ll be back yet again. I’m so proud of you🤍”.

Kendra was by her husband’s side when he injured his ankle last season. Julius suffered the injury toward the end of the regular season and further reaggravated it during their playoff run. He decided to play through it and underwent surgery after getting eliminated by the Heat in the second round. Randle then managed to make a heroic comeback this season!

He was averaging 24 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 5 assists before he dislocated his shoulder. Hopefully, Randle will be able to make an even bigger comeback next season with his wife’s unconditional support. He’s been an ever-important presence around the Knicks; barring this one- he helped lead the team to the postseason twice in the last three seasons, not to forget the memorable series victory against the Cavs.

Kendra’s heartfelt message left the NBA universe emotional. Suns superstar Bradley Beal’s wife Kamiah Adams-Beal commented on Kendra’s post, sending prayers for Julius’ quick recovery, “Prayers up 🙏🏽 minor setback for a major comeback!!”. Several Knicks fans also showered prayers and love. A fan wrote “Nothing but love Ju, get well soon. The city knows you’re a warrior! Best believe we’ll be there for the glorious return.” One fan even had a prediction for after Randle makes his comeback, “You got this, Ju 💪🏽 All NBA szn loading 🙏🏽”

One hopeful supporter looked forward to seeing him back on the court, “Julius is a Legend he’s got this 🙏🏼 #SeeYouOctober22nd”. This die-hard Knicks fan believes that the Knicks will win this season for Julius, “Tell JuJu when he gets back to 100% we getting a finals appearance with him we ready for the playoff run with him at 100% we will miss him this postseason but we gonna win for him.”
