Bradley Beal finally suited up for tonight’s game after much speculation on his availability. But he didn’t last long as the veteran guard was ejected after getting two techs for an altercation with the Rockets‘ Jalen Green. Apparently, Beal was looking to inbound the ball and was guarded by Green.

Not sure what the purpose was, but Bradley hit the young guard’s head with the ball and then let it go. The 2022 All-Rookie First Teamer wasn’t too happy with the disrespect. And he immediately followed it with a slight shove, to which Beal responded with a somewhat aggressive one of his. The refs immediately ran to the court to prevent the situation from escalating further.

This comes right after Thursday’s brawl between Cam Whitmore and Devin Booker. Their fight happened mid-way through the fourth quarter. The pair have been going at it whenever they are matched up against each other for quite some time. So, it wasn’t all that surprising when there was a throw of hands.

After the game, Booker had dismissed the whole situation as being nothing more than “fun” and “just competition”. But Beal and Green didn’t look like they were simply having some fun, heated moment on the court.

Bradley Beal vs Jalen Green

The clock read 7:10. The clips that have surfaced show that Beal and Green were talking, nothing too flattering, obviously, as the former was trying to inbound the ball. The clock showed 7:08. It was from here that the showdown between the two went down.

While he was looking around, Bradley appeared to tap the ball off Jalen’s head while still holding on to it. In the next moment, Beal went ahead and inbounded the ball to Booker as Green placed a hand on the 3x All-Star. Not too pleased with it, he slapped Jalen’s hand away. Not satisfied with that or probably not getting the reaction he had hoped, Beal once again moved forward and flicked Green’s head back.

Having had enough, Green reacted, shoving the veteran back. Booker immediately ran to Green to keep him from going after Beal. Pretty sure he knows how it would go down. The NBA this season has more than enough incidents to know the end result without having to go through it. Seeing as how it was getting heated in there, security and refs were at hand before things escalated.
