Giannis Antetokounmpo’s life story through a lens
Giannis Antetokounmpo was brought up on the outskirts of Greece with his three brothers, and his story is one of tenacity, dedication, and success. He got introduced to the sport of basketball accidentally when he came across photographs of some NBA legends in an internet cafe. After looking at that, young Giannis was inspired by them and that is where his enthusiasm for basketball began.
The documentary is narrated by Antetokounmpo himself and it includes personal interviews with his family members and dives into the trials and accomplishments that defined the Greek Freak’s career. Even in the trailer of the documentary, Giannis explains this surreal feeling by saying, “People might say I am one of the best players in the NBA right now but, I don’t see it… I don’t feel it. I’m just a hard worker that’s trying to survive because I am scared of losing all this.”
