We all know that Ayesha Curry is multi-talented and that she tried her hand at acting in her younger days. From guest appearances to starring in Hannah Montana, the Canadian-American actress, perhaps, left the stage too soon. But now, it seems like acting was still something she kept at the back of her head.

In the latest film, Irish Wish, the soon-to-be mama announced her comeback to the silver screen alongside her best friend of Mean Girls fame, Lindsay Lohan. Set to release on March 15th, the dreamy and romantic movie is live on Netflix now. And Ayesha’s husband, Stephen Curry, just couldn’t be more proud.

Steph pens an enthusiastic message for his wife on Instagram

Taking to Instagram to share his excitement, he posted the movie trailer along with a heartfelt message for his better half. “Congratulations my Woman! Can’t wait for the world to see you shine on the big screen,” followed by a heart-for-eyes emoji. He also mentioned, “#irishwishmovie is live on @netflix.”

Being married to an NBA superstar, Ayesha Curry has struggled a lot with creating an identity for herself besides just the wife of Steph Curry. Not that there is anything wrong with that. Many women are more than happy to take a backseat while their husbands wreak havoc on the court. But the cookbook author could not see a life where she could simply stay still.

And the result was, Ayesha carving out a niche for herself in a cutthroat world of business. From her lifestyle brand, Sweet July and Sweet July Skin to the latest in her repertoire, Domaine Curry, the soon-to-be mother of four has donned various hats throughout the years. And she has pulled them all off with grace, elegance, and a little bit of that Ayesha charm that makes her so beloved to families around the world.

But it would seem like she will have another, more important role to fulfill in the near future.

POTUS Stephen Curry and his First Lady?

Stephen Curry recently remarked that he wouldn’t be against running for the President and since then, it has been chaos. Of the good kind. Of course, there will always be naysayers for everything and this is no different. But, the majority wholeheartedly agree that Steph would make a great President. Steve Kerr even gave his assent, confirming that he would vote for his star player if ended up running for the Presidential office.

Curry’s comments came during an interview about the release of his new children’s book. Amidst all the charity work and philanthropic endeavors, the NBA power couple was shocked as the statistics of literacy in Oakland came out. It only proved that there was still a lot of work left in their community. But Steph doesn’t want this to be isolated to just a particular area. So, if he can use his influence and status to reach a bigger audience and if politics is the way to go about it, Stephen Curry wouldn’t be above moving the motion for the Presidency.

And if this does happen, Ayesha Curry would become the First Lady of the USA (or should we say, FLOTUS?), a role that comes with its own set of heavy duties and responsibilities. There is no doubt that she will approach it with the same seriousness, if not more, as she has in every other area of her life!
