The Golden State Warriors have been one of the most powerful franchises in the NBA. With a strong core team of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green, they went on to win four championships and dominate the league. However, this season the Dubs do not look dominating and are currently on a three-game losing streak. Due to that, the GSW coach, Steve Kerr, is making some drastic changes to his squad, which led to him benching the Dubs’ star player Klay Thompson for the first time during crunch time.

The Golden State Warriors faced off against the star-studded team of the Los Angeles Clippers. Even though they tried their best to make a comeback, the Clippers managed to defeat them 121-113. So, during the post-match interview, Curry was asked by a reporter about the changes made by Coach Kerr. He said, “Changes were necessary. You know when your team is struggling to find its identity and trying to find its momentum, you have to experiment. You can’t keep doing the same thing and expect different results. So, I think the energy was good tonight.”
