The Golden State Warriors vs Sacramento Kings matchup is getting hot as the Warriors are warming up for a shot at the playoffs. But that’s not what’s got everyone in a tizzy. Stephen Curry, as usual, arrived in style. But keen eyes soon caught a glimpse of the hand wrap he wore under his full-sleeve hoodie. And that was enough for all hell to break loose.
A hardcore Curry fan immediately reposted his pre-game fit with the caption, “Is that a wrap on Steph’s hand?” followed by a monocle and covered face emoji. Well, it was Steph’s shooting hand, so the concerns were valid and not surprising. He did suffer a broken wrist injury that kept him out for three whole months on October 30, 2019. Steph ended up playing in just five of the Warriors’ 65 games that season.

At the time, the Warriors were in a sticky situation. Kevin Durant had left for Brooklyn, Klay Thompson was already out with a torn ACL, and a bunch of veterans were all on the injury report. It left Draymond Green in charge of the Dubs’ younger guys. The Golden State was already struggling with the 2019-20 season. It was fraught with losses from one end to the other. However, coming back to the present time, this seems to be a big problem for the Warriors that the fans have already started reacting to.

More reactions soon followed, each with a highlight on heightening terror. A user commented, “Bruh don’t tell me,” followed by a depressed emoji.

Another concerned fan tried to see the silver lining in all the chaos and speculated whether it was “just a precaution?”, however, it was clear that the netizen was just as frightened as the rest.
Oh lord…. maybe it's just a precaution? 🙏🏾🙏🏾

But the Dub Nation can breathe out a sigh of relief. The Bay Area sports station tweeted the video of Stephen Curry locking in and he seems to have gotten rid of the dreaded wrap. In the end, it turned out to be a precautionary measure.

Despite the comforting news, it was a night of heartbreak for the Golden State Warriors and their fans. Unfortunately, the Warriors finally admitted defeat at the hands of Sacramento 94-118 tonight. A supposedly injured Steph picked up the scraps and scored 22 today, but that just wasn’t enough to resist the Kings’ steamroll. The question now is; has Keegan Murray’s 32-point effort possibly ended the Warriors dynasty? Will the Big 3 be back as a unit next season? Klay’s drop in scoring and a not-agreed extension could prove to be detrimental.
