Bradley Beal, in the Suns vs Kings matchup last week, had tweaked his hamstring during a 17-foot jump shot. He quickly exited in the first quarter after that. Beal has had injuries plague him throughout this season. Particularly, soft tissue injuries.

And now, in their next matchup against Dallas, it seems like he may not take to the court as the team has updated his status as “questionable”. Damion Lee also remains out for the team.

To put it mildly, Beal has been the injury bug’s favorite this time around. He started the season with a lower back injury, which led to him missing seven games. Beal had his season debut against the Chicago Bulls amid much speculation and excitement. The team was, of course, taking it slow with Beal, putting him on minute restriction and such.

The 30-year-old continued to play for the next three games before being sidelined again due to lingering back issues. That was another 12 more games he missed. He returned not too long after but was back on the injury list shortly after turning an ankle after landing on Donte DiVincenzo’s foot during a game vs the New York Knicks.

And then, the more recent mask. That happened after he took an elbow to the face during a Pacers matchup and suffered a nasal fracture. He’s been the masked Beal, or more affectionately, the ‘Batman’ ever since. Overall, he’s played in 30 games, and in two of them, he left early.

Despite being listed as questionable, Coach Vogel has said that they were going to see how Beal responds to the workouts before charting a route they were going to take with him. And although he did have the procedure on his nose done, Frank added he would be wearing the protective mask longer.

The Dallas Mavericks, for their part, have a few key players who are ‘probable’ for tomorrow. Luka Doncic‘s broken nose and Dereck Lively II and Maxi Kleber’s nasal fracture have put them on the list. Dante Exum, though, is ‘Out’. Tomorrow’s Dallas Mavericks matchup will be their first game after the All-Star Break.

In the two games they have played this season, both teams have taken home one win each, the most recent being Phoenix‘s win over the Mavs on January 24th. It will be quite interesting to see how the game will proceed. Especially considering that Phoenix’s latest addition, Thaddeus Young, will be in a Suns jersey for the first time.
