Super Bowl LVIII Could Result in Homecoming for 4X NBA Champion

We are just two days away from crowning the new Super Bowl Champions. The San Francisco 49ers will go head-to-head against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday to determine the winner of Super Bowl LVIII. While the fans in San Francisco are excited for the 49ers to bring home the Super Bowl, their winning the Championship could also result in the homecoming of a 4-time NBA Champion.
Sacramento Kings head coach Mike Brown could make his return to San Francisco for the Championship parade if the 49ers lift the Super Bowl in Las Vegas. That is because Mike’s son, Cameron Brown, is a defensive quality control coach with the 49ers. So, it will be Mike’s turn to ride his son’s coattails, like Cameron did with his father when he worked with the Warriors.
Mike Brown is no stranger to Championship parades. He was the Warriors assistant coach from 2016 to 2022 and helped Stephen Curry and Co. win 3 NBA Championships. He also won another Championship early in his career when he was the assistant coach for the San Antonio Spurs in 2003.

Mike Brown expressed his excitement to hopefully attend the parade in San Francisco in an interview with Andscape. “I am going to try to get to that parade. I’m so excited.” The Kings coach said. His son, Cameron, was also excited about his father’s probable return and knew how much he meant to the city of San Francisco. “He can definitely be in the parade…They probably want him in the parade more than me anyways.” Cameron told Andscape.

Brown is in the second year of his head coaching tenure and is doing wonders with the Kings. He has helped the Kings get to the 7th spot in the Western Conference standings with a 29-21 record. After winning 4 Championships as an assistant coach, Brown’s goal now would be to win his first ring as a head coach.
