The Miami Heat vs Detroit Pistons matchup last night was a hard-fought battle. With Miami missing key players like Tyler Herro, Kevin Love, and the latest addition, Josh Richardson, it’s fair to say that they were shorthanded. But the Heat still has Jimmy Butler. And last night’s performance showcased, once again, his prowess. And maybe, the sensational pop hit maker, Camila Cabello’s special gift might have also had something to do with it.

The 27-year-old singer-songwriter was present for last night’s game and cameras soon captured the wholesome moment between Butler and Cabello. She went up to the Heat forward during the warmups and it looked like the two had a friendly chat before Camila presented Jimmy with a customized jersey.

Similar in design and style to what the ‘Havana’ singer wore, it also had the words, I Luv It, emblazoned on the back. It looks like Butler really loves it and fans can’t contain their excitement at seeing him wear it again.

One fan commented, “The ultimate Rizz: Bro is Jimmy fkn Butler,” followed by three crying and one fire emoji.

Another one seems to be quite struck with his charisma that he commented, “My apologies Mr Butler, I wasn’t really familiar with your game”.

The woman in question herself seemed to be ecstatic at Jimmy’s appreciation for her gift. So much so that Camila left a comment that would make all her fans jealous. “oh he’s gettin the album link like rn“

Another user seems to be working out the marketing and financial dynamics as he is confident “These jerseys would go crazy hard”.

Finally, this fan thinks that they make a good couple. “They low key look cute together”.

Prior to this, Cabello had shared a 28-second teaser of her latest music. There was no other information, except for the phrase “I love it” prominently featured. And her arriving at the Heat game donning the ‘I Luv It’ jersey has her fans contemplating whether her new single’s title could be the same.  

Anyway, it could be the jersey or Cabello’s presence, but Jimmy Butler was brilliant yesterday.

Butler’s fourth-quarter heroics helped the team clinch a 118-110 win last night. The Miami Heat had a rough patch towards the end of January when they were on a seven-game losing streak. But with last night’s win, Jimmy Butler and Co. have won 11 of their last 14 games.

Out of his game-high 26 points, “Playoffs Jimmy” scored 15 of them in the last quarter. His biggest shot came with just 22 seconds to go as the 6x All-Star drained a three-pointer. Suffice it to say that Butler has raised his game if late. And the Heat could do with all of it and then some more.
