Over his six-year NBA career, Trae Young has become a beloved figure for fans, with impressive averages of nearly 25 points and 9 assists per game. He’s earned two NBA All-Star Game selections, captivating audiences with his electrifying long-range shooting and distinctive celebrations.

Before becoming an Atlanta icon, Young was already a sensation in his hometown of Norman, Oklahoma. Recently, the young star responded to a hilarious tweet by the official social media account of his franchise the Hawks.

Trae Young Responds to Atlanta Hawks Only Fans Antics

The NBA in-season tournament has both players and fans excited. However, recently the  Atlanta Hawks social media decided to turn up the heat in their latest post on social media. The promo clip posted on their Twitter page shows their mascot, Harry the Hawk, in an awkward “OnlyFans” like video.

The caption from the video states, “Only Hawks Fans know where the real action is”. Their franchise star took no time to respond to this odd yet funny video. He reposted the clip to his Twitter. He hilariously assured fans that he “had no part in” it. In any case, Young has been a guiding hope for Atlanta his efforts in the franchise have given hope to the fans for a probable finals appearance or even a championship.

The young All-Star has contributed a lot towards taking a step forward in Atlanta’s hoop culture.

Young strives for a change in Atlanta

Atlanta, initially starting the season 0-2, has now secured four consecutive wins. While their shooters may not be at their best, strong team chemistry is propelling their season. Trae Young, in a recent post-game conference, expressed the team’s unity and confidence, emphasizing his partnership with Dejounte Murray. Young believes in Murray’s ability to lead, regardless of who scores the most points. Their confidence is evident with three of the last four wins featuring double-digit leads.

Additionally, the Hawks have improved defensively, holding Damian Lillard to just six points against the Milwaukee Bucks and making a remarkable 21-point comeback against Minnesota the following night.
