Morant’s absence has left the Memphis Grizzlies severely shorthanded. Currently, they hold the fourteenth position in the Western Conference with just three wins from fifteen games. Besides Ja Morant, they also do not have Marcus Smart, Brandon Clark, and Steven Adams due to injuries. Veteran Derrick Rose could not deliver consistent performances. As these woes keep piling up, it seems like the Grizzlies are also desperate to see their All-Star guard return.

After Friday’s loss against the Phoenix Suns, Rose shared the reasons for their struggles, adding, “Just communicating… I don’t know when it’s gonna actually resonate, but if we’re not gonna talk on the defensive end, there’s no way in hell we’re gonna win these games. That’s just honestly speaking. Communication is huge in this league, especially on this level.”?It still remains to be seen how his teammates are taking his observations.
