Every place has its own set of 90s kids. They have their own set of shows that they adore to this day! LeBron James and Draymond Green are no different. The Fox sitcom, Martin is one such TV show. The characters, Martin Payne, Gina Waters, Tommy Strawn, Cole Brown, and Pamela James continue living rent-free in our heads.
And now, the entire cast, minus Tommy (who passed away in 2016 due to surgical complications), is reunited at the 75th annual Primetime Emmy Awards.

LeBron James and Green take to Instagram to share their excitement
Unable to contain the delight of watching their favorites all together once again, James takes to Instagram to post a story update. Green was not far behind as he captioned his story with “Best show ever.”

Pretty sure many can identify with Bron and Dray’s sentiments. Martin Lawrence is one of the most prominent comedians out there. From Bad Boys to Big Momma, his most notable works after Martin, Lawrence has been entertaining us for 36+ years.
And LeBron is loving every moment of it. There have been multiple occasions where the King has publicized his love for the man and his work.
James’ love for Lawrence is out of this world
From replying to fan comments about his favorite TV show to releasing a pair of Martin-inspired shoes, King James has made it quite obvious that he is a huge fan of Martin Lawrence. Here’s another example of just how far LeBron is ready to go to make sure he honors the iconic comedian to the T.

It was the 2016 Halloween party and James’ choice was to have a “Martin” inspired look. He spent $5000 to ensure his Jerome outfit was on point! Apparently, it was well spent as Lawrence personally told the 6’9 “Jerome” how much he loved it. But that wasn’t enough. In the Jimmy Kimmel Show (2018), Martin tells the story of how James dropped by his house.

It was a surprise by, no doubt his friends, who knew his love for the man. Lawrence fondly recalls playing HORSE with LeBron and his brother. A more recent show of love was when he was gifted a pair of Nike 16s for his 54th birthday.

A man of varied interests, LeBron James takes pride in things that matter a great deal to him. And he is not shy about expressing his love for them. No matter how childish or crazy it might seem to some.
