When James Harden was putting up crazy numbers in Houston, he started dating Khloe Kardashian. Although their relationship lasted only a few months, it exposed Harden to the Kardashian Effect. He could be seen enjoying the nightlife and consuming alcohol regularly. The couple was spotted at different parties, even during the regular season.

Amin claims to have shot the “Greatest podcast episode he had ever done” about Harden’s drama, which never saw the light of day. He was accompanied on the 2015 podcast by Pablo Torre, who spent three days with Harden in Houston. “Pablo had unfettered access,” revealed the veteran analyst. The podcast was shot the same day Football Coach Steve Sarkisian got into trouble for an alcohol scandal. Amin claims that the podcast deep-dived into the rampant “Alcoholism” problem in the sports world. “He is not the only one,” said Amin as he revealed that most of the people involved in the sports world deal with alcoholism and substance abuse.

Amin Elhassan’s Greatest Podcast episode was taken down

Within 15 minutes of the episode being aired, Elhassan was asked to take down the podcast. The reason stated was, “We were making light of alcoholism.” Contradictory to the reason, the former NBA executive claims they were bringing one of the most widespread issues in the sports world to everyone’s attention. The episode was eventually taken down.

“I s**t you not, an hour later, Lamar Odom rushed to hospital after overdose,” Amin added. Khloe Kardashian’s ex-husband and Former Lakers star Lamar Odom suffered several heart attacks due to alcohol and substance abuse. He fell into a coma and was on life support. Amin regrets that he had the perfect podcast at the perfect time that covered all the drama but was robbed of the opportunity.
