The Milwaukee Bucks finally seem to have gotten a rhythm to their game. They are on a six-game winning streak after an impromptu coach change mid-season had the whole team fumbling about. With yesterday’s 113-106 victory over the Clippers, the Bucks have their streak at an even number. That win came without their star player, Giannis Antetokounmpo on the floor. It seems the Bucks could be going ahead with the blockbuster, East vs West without the Greek Freak tonight as well.

Giannis was out in the previous game against the Clippers because of Achilles tendinitis, and now he is listed as “questionable” for tonight, as the Bucks start their road trip toward the Chase Center, San Fransisco. In the matchup against the Clippers too, Giannis was assessed during his pre-game warm-up, after which he was deemed unable to participate. He was visibly in pain because of earlier injuries.

The Athletic’s Shams Chaarnia says the Bucks aren’t too concerned about his injury, but of course, his availability tonight is still uncertain. Giannis has participated in 59 games this season, and the only games he has missed have been because of different injuries – calf, shoulder, and now Achilles tendinitis. Post their matchup against the Clippers, Coach Rivers revealed that he wasn’t sure for how long the 2x MVP will be sidelined, as he has been playing through his injuries dedicatedly these past few games. Of course, the Bucks wouldn’t want to overexert their star player, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if Antentekounpo rests tonight as well.

Who else is on the injury list with Giannis Antentokounpo?

Aside from Giannis, Khris Middleton is listed as ‘Out’ while MarJon Beauchamp is probable for the Warriors game. And then there is Chris Livingston along with two-ways who are on a G League assignment. Although the Bucks could do with Middleton, the Clippers’ matchup showcases they can hold their own.

Moreover, Patrick Beverley and Andre Jackson can get increased playtime if Giannis is ruled out. Apart from Giannis, we have Jae Crowder as “probable” because of his left knee, along with him, MarJon Beauchamp is also “probable” because of his foot injury. As for the Golden State, we have Brandin Podziemski and Andrew Wigging both available tonight.
