Despite being one of the oldest players on court right now, the forward still plays with the same passion from his early days. Tonight’s match is an important one for LeBron and the Lakers. The Nuggets ended their championship dreams last season. And the Lakers will be looking to redeem themselves from the disappointing loss.

LeBron dedicates this season to son

In July of this year, LeBron’s eldest son, Bronny James, suffered a major health scare. The 19-year-old had a sudden cardiac arrest and was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect. Acknowledging his son’s strength, James said, “Obviously I’m going to dedicate this season to Bronny because of the incident that happened. Understanding that just puts everything into perspective.”

He added, “No matter what’s going on, the only thing that matters is your family. To see what he had to go through over the last few months, it has been a lot. I can only imagine how it has been for him, because it has been a lot for me, and a lot for our family.” LeBron has always been vocal in his support for his sons’ career. His two boys, in return, have always expressed their admiration of their father.

With today’s match, fans are hoping to see LeBron do his magic and re-establish the Lakers as the best team in the league. Will they be able to do it?
