The LA Lakers were outmatched, outscored, and overpowered at home tonight, courtesy of the Brooklyn Nets. LeBron James and Anthony Davis had double-doubles to speak for themselves. But the Nets were unforgiving as they took advantage of every little mishap on the Lakers’ side.

When James was asked if he planned on being hung over the loss or to move forward, the King said, “Watch NFL playoffs tomorrow. That’s what I’d do.”

A stress buster for sure, football is a sport that’s close to Bron’s heart. Maybe watching the intense competitiveness on the field might be enough to get the King going on a rampage for their next game. The funny thing about tonight’s loss was that it was equally frustrating and astounding.

The first half saw a supercharged LA with the best offensive playmaking of the season. Moving on to the second half, the Nets simply crushed them, leaving them with one of the worst losses of the season – 112 against 130. And the fact that this was a blowout loss to the 11th-placed Brooklyn is adding salt to the wound.

LeBron James and his love for football is no joke

One image, probably the one that stood out the most, showed the 4x champion watching an NFL game with his TV screen split into multiple sections. Whenever he has time on his hands and there is a football game happening, the chances are that LeBron will be present in the game. Be it in person or online.
